E.U Tyre Labelling Regulations
EC Regulation no 1222/2009 on the labelling of tyres with respect to fuel efficiency and other essential parameters came into force on 1 November 2012. Full details of the legislation can be found on the EC website
It is a a legal requirement for us to supply tyre labeling information at point of sale. All of our tyres come with an efficiency label which is easy to understand & easily recognisable. And also the fuel efficiency details are attached with each of our tyres on our website so you can be clear before ordering the tyre.
The labels show:
- Fuel efficiency graded A-G best to worst = 7.5% loss in fuel economy
- Wet grip graded A-G best to worst = 30% in braking distances.
- External road noise measured in decibels.
